About Me
General
I am 22 years old and I am a Computer Science degree graduate. Game programming is my passion, I have been doing it for 2-3 years and I have only scratch the surface, it never gets old and I am sure that I will have a great time doing this in the foreseeable future.
I start with doing video editing as a free lancer. I eventually start doing simple motion graphics and in time, I start incorporating 3D elements in my motion graphics work. Soon after, my noticed that my 3D modelling tool comes with a internal game engine and I start writing games from there on.
Now, I am a game development hobbyist/generalist. I've done every type of work there is needed to create a game ( modelling, audio, design, storyboard, programming etc ) as I do not have acquaintances that shares my interests. However, I am grateful that I am doing all of them by myself because the whole process of writing a game, from concept to completion, is really exciting.
If I have to pick one part from game development that I love the most, I would say my favorite part would be the part where I try to analysis and breakdown a specific game mechanics. It is very fun and challenging to derive solutions to create a certain game mechanics (from auto-targeting missile to inventory system, from map randomization to skill upgrade system)
